ELCC 1.4: Candidates understand and can evaluate school progress and revise school plans supported by school stakeholders.

ELCC 1.4, which emphasizes candidates' proficiency in understanding and evaluating school progress while revising plans with the involvement of school stakeholders, is closely aligned with the activity of reviewing STAR data to identify areas requiring improvement. By utilizing ELCC 1.4 skills, candidates can collaboratively analyze STAR data with relevant stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and parents. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of the areas that need improvement based on student performance data. Furthermore, candidates can then implement the Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) curriculum as an activity to address one of the identified concerns from the student data. ELCC 1.4's emphasis on collaboration and evaluation becomes crucial in this context, as it facilitates a well-informed and collective decision-making process, ensuring that educational strategies are tailored to address specific challenges highlighted by the STAR data analysis.
